Proving she’s got lungs to rival Florence and the Machine, new songstress Lyra’s second single is as dramatic as it is theatrical. Entitled ‘Broken Down’ there is also something of Kate Bush in there, as whimsy and artistry dance about over the belting vocals. Dedicating it to the "one to the person who told me not to give up my day job”, this one is all about self-belief and we love the positive message woven within the huge crescendos. The debut EP is out 15th July and no doubt will cement her as a pop powerhouse. - SJ
